view into a metal trash can filled with plastic flowers, plastic bottles, tissues, and other trash. The trash can is made of perforated metal, through the holes light shines in a dotted pattern onto the trash.

art is a problem of translation (explicitly) life is a problem of translation (implicitly)

grey pebbles

the wind is all names whispered

an arched staircase behind a pine tree on the right. on the left graves. in the background palm trees, more graves, and the sky.
looking up a hill, four stone walls, layered behind each other. the three in the back have plaques reading: department primer, department segon, department terer. behind, above the first wall, before the second wall, is a cross with flowers and a small statue, and a tree to the right

monuments to temporality

a stone bench overgrown with a succulent plant that blooms pink.
a young palm tree. its leaves shedding bright threads, almost like fine hair.

The soul of the cemetery is multiple

how to move through time and space

between stones and flowers

in the grand scheme of things, this tree has moved further than me

personal monutments are political monuments

in a space (supposedly) still and unchanging the smallest difference comes into stark focus

writing poetry without pen and paper looking around at the way light and shadow play their game on the variety of textures

what strikes me most about this landscape is how aware it makes me of its layers.

(Pinyol, J., and M. González.
